Welcome to the Hanover Poker club. We are all here for one reason and that is to learn how to and play poker. I will be keeping this site up to date and post all information relayed from the SCPA Poker(South Central PA Poker Club) There are a few rules that I will go over later. Please tell all your friends about the site! The more we have....the more games we can get going!

Ipod Show Down!!

The first ever Ipod showdown! January 7th at 7:00 P.M.
What: No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament- First Prize 40 Gig Apple Ipod with HP
Cost: 25+5

Format: No Limit holdem, 20 min blinds, BYOBB, All money and RSVP must be to Dan Keller or Robbie Walter no later that 1-4-2005. There will be no refunds if you don't show! Second prize will also be a cash payout to be announced at the tournament.

Well I had the opportunity to go last night to play poker in the World Tavern Poker Tour and it was a great time. The play was fast and hard at times. The best part of the night was its FREE! If you haven't checked it out go here and register. We are playing at the HOP in York...

Rose Ave. exit of I-83) - Club is open from 5PM-1AM on Thursdays, 5PM - 1AM on Fridays, and 2PM-1AM Saturdays, 1-10 Sundays; Tournaments Saturdays and Sundays (see below listings). $20 yearly membership fee. Now added at 5th Street! - Thursday and Friday night Sit-N-Go tournaments - Here's a chance to hone your tournament play in a final table setting without a huge tournament field. 1 table tournaments start hourly ranging from $20-$50. All tournament have a $5 charge for table usage. Tables have an accelerated blind structure so you don't miss out on the cash games.

5th Street Tournament Update - ALL TOURNAMENTS STARTING THIS WEEKEND WILL BEGIN AT 5:00PM. The change was made to raise the number of players and allow for players to more easily get into cash games when eliminated or the tournament ends.

Lancaster Area - Regular cash games 5 nights a week - $2-$4 NLH with $200 minimum buy-in/$400 maximum. Every three weeks there is a $3-$6 NLH game with a $500 minimum buy-in and a $5-$10 $1,000 buy-in every two months.

Mondays- 8pm till ? - Every Monday is a 10,20,30,40 progressive structure hold-em.
Tuesdays- single table satellites
Wednesday- 8pm till ?????
Thursday- NO GAME

Note: every cash game is $2- $4 no limit holdem with a 200 min buy in and 400 max buy in.
